Who Qualifies?
You may qualify if you are:
- Landed Immigrants: Permanent Resident Card IMM5688 or IMM5292
- Foreign Workers: Work Permit IMM1102 or IMM1442
- International Students: Study Permit IMM1208 or IMM1442, plus proof of enrollment (may be considered on an exception basis)
Applicants are evaluated based on creditworthiness:
- No prior automotive financing in Canada
- No major credit issues
- Verifiable monthly income sufficient to cover vehicle payments, living expenses, and debts
Which Vehicles Qualify?
- All New Ford and Lincoln vehicles
- Only certain new vehicles qualify for a $500 Ford of Canada cash rebate
- All Certified Pre-Owned Ford vehicles
- Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are not eligible for the $500 rebate
Financing Basics
- Available on all retail and lease terms
- Minimum down payment: $1,000
- Vehicles eligible for the Ford rebate: $500 cash + $500 rebate = $1,000 minimum down
- Financing term must match your work or study visa/permit
- Security deposits may be required for remaining vehicle term
- Standard security deposit applies for leases
